I nipped over to the new Fair event and got this adorable sweater and matching socks. As soon as I saw them I knew my next post was a bedroom shot. I'm not in it often enough these days, so it was a good excuse. Morag seems to have taken over the bed though. Pets, they think they own the place!
Still catching up on Luna Jubilee's 52 weeks of color challenge, but this post brings me up to date. I found this cute striped dress the other day at Elate! and I do believe that's a hunter green stripe! I feel quite chic with the addition of the Celoe hat. The hair by Truth is a gift to subscribers. Thank you Mr. Hawks, I love it!
Another autumnal picture because I love this season. When I saw these kite poses promoted on Plurk last week, I knew I had to get them for a post. They are from Izzie's and that's where I snapped the shot as well. The sim is a perfect autumn scene.
Papaya Whip was a tough color for me, for some reason - and I thought it would be rather simple. It's a lovely and delicate shade. I looked at creams and ivories, blushes and apricots. In the end, I settled on this top from Mon Tissu in beige. The violin pose prop was a group gift a few months ago from !Bang, Luna Jubilee's (alt's) own store! One more color post and I'll be all caught up!
This is a joint post, Ayla took the picture and she left the words to me, Dolly, because she figures I like to brag more than she does. So here's the bragging - Double Exposure made two "top ten" blog lists from two very kind bloggers, Nalate Urriah and Lucie Bluebird. It thrilled us nearly to death! Nalate's Things and Stuff called us girly and Bluebird Song said we were sexy. Now between us, we figure we manage to cover both of those bases, though in my opinion Ayla's the sexy one. We want to thank both bloggers, for your kind, kind words! SMOOCH!
We tried being both girly and sexy in this picture, and ended up in Hucci dresses, which is practically the #1 girly/sexy store on the grid. The Soulmate pose Ayla picked out at Izzie's.
I love Summer, I really do. But I'm an Autumn person, in real life and in Second Life. Fall colors, cozy sweaters, cooler temperatures, leaves changing, I love them all. So I'll welcome Autumn in coldLogic's new release of layered tops and jeans style trousers.
I don't usually credit sims - most of my pics are taken at my home - but this picture is taken at Roche, a wonderful place to explore and take a snapshot. Many of you know it well, but for any who haven't been there, check it out.
It's Friday once again and what does that mean? It's Fifty Linden Friday time! Back when I was little, Friday meant time for Crackerjack, but I've grown more sophisticated since then (though, some would say that was debatable). Anyway, I couldn't resist buying the natural and the bright versions of this jersey skirt and top and as usual with Miel creations it comes with a colour change hud with 6 shades to choose from. To jazz it up a little I added and scarf and sunglasses, also from Miel. I think it helped pull the whole look together. Enjoy your Friday shopping adventures!
I'm wearing two Gacha items from The Arcade event and I built an outfit around them - the scarf from Tres Blah and the adorable heart pendant from Maxi Gossamer. I spent a small fortune on the scarves and they're lovely. I do wish there was a non-rigged mesh option so I could wear the scarf with more things, but it is a Gacha event - items are transferable, so no multiple sizes or other options. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a store release soon.
I'd spotted this stunning hair in a few blog pics and HAD to have it. I searched three times at D!va's main store before finding it upstairs. I love the wispy messy quality. It's not a rigged mesh hair which I prefer in longer styles, but gosh it is too pretty to pass up for pictures!

Maxi Gossamer - Necklace - Candy Love Heart - Long - CHOCOLATE (Gacha item at The Arcade)
Just as I was beginning to look for inspiration for my next blog, Rebel Hope released this gorgeously slinky Old-Hollywood style dress in several colors. Inspiration found. Hurry and find me a red carpet so I can thank the academy!
I enjoyed my week at the lake taking pontoon boat rides and enjoying sunsets while watching deer creep up to the water's edge from the deck of the house. The weather was perfect, the company was wonderful, but it's nice to get home to my own home, too. Since all the Collabor88 things are new to me I couldn't help but take a picture of Trompe DeLoeil's gorgeous kitchen.
This new long long hair from Lelutka tickled my fancy, or maybe it just tickled my ass. New HAIR! YAY!
I have to get caught up on my 52 weeks of color posts, so more to come!
A woman's work is never done. Just as well I have some cute domestic appliances. The Lisp 'Dolly Days' collection is so much fun and after winning the ironing board at the gatcha, I thought it was about time everyone learned the truth as to what I actually do all day on Second Life. Worked to the bone I am!
When I was futtering about trying to get an idea for a blog, I pulled out this Garden of Dreams 'The Field' Dream Scene and fell in love. The colours are so vivid and autumnal. I quickly threw on some new clothes and tada, we have a blog post!
I'm slowly healing and though I have a still a way to go, I can just about muster up some energy to blog. After being out of the swing for two months, I admit it's not so easy to find my blogging mojo again, and doing pics etc is taking me a bit longer. But hey, at least I feel I can do it and that's a big improvement.
So here I am, sitting at my desk with a cup of tea, procrastinating, contemplating, struggling to find inspiration. Super blogger Dolly to the rescue. Time to call her up to find out the gossip, new releases and sales I have been missing out on. Being friends with a shopaholic has it perks!
More goodness from FaMESHed is Cracked Mirror's darling short, short mesh dress called Sunday. It can be a dress, but as short as it is, I thought it looked good as a top with these leggings from League.
FaMESHed, the monthly showcase of new mesh items by Second Life creators, is all new again. I won't be able to show all my favorites in one blog post, so stay tuned. The slouchy sweater and shorts from Mon Tissu are darling and the inspiration of my look today. I added the black and white dotted skinny scarf (I wish I'd fatpacked them) and surprised myself by liking pale peach shoes (I should have fatpacked these, too) and handbag instead of the black or red that I'd thought I should use. Maxi Gossamer jewelry from FaMESHed polished the outfit, the messy D!va hair emphasizes the casual urban glamour of the look.
The skin is the "bare" version of Lilith, Glam Affair's newest release. ARGH, so many gorgeous skins, so few Lindens!
